One of the ways to empower ourselves is through the foods that we eat. Understanding our bodies reaction to food can make it easier to be proactive about our health.

Between the foods served to the youth within the centre and practical guidance in optimal nutrition for everyday life, we are approaching holistic health and creating healthy habits through the sharing of delicious food.

Using seasonal, locally sourced foods, we are developing a method of mind, body and digestion connection to grow understanding around energy levels, emotional balance and their overall health.

Additionally, the program offers experiential health education, detailing how our young people can begin to choose affordable, nutritious alternatives on a budget.
