Help Change My City Alliance believes in the potential within each and every young person. We understand that there are many trials and tribulations that young people go through, so we look to encourage them through the Youth Awards and Recognition event. We, alongside other community partners, corporations and businesses come together to celebrate and hand out peer nominated awards in two categories; the Challenge Recognition Award goes to those who have fought the good fight and the Personal Achievement Awards go to those who have impacted the community as individuals and/or teams within the communities in which we are involved.

We look to inspire more personal achievements, responsible choices, leadership qualities and the planning of change activities that inspire positive growth in the personal lives of youth, resulting in their engagement in community. We want all young people to progress holistically as great students, confident individuals, and good contributors to society. We want to support them and encourage them as they grow emotionally, intellectually and socially.
